Let us entertain you!

Welcome to our blog. We're addicts, theatre addicts. We try and see everything - musicals, comedies, dramas, on and off Broadway. Last season we actually saw everything on Broadway except "Rock of Ages," which Jeffrey wanted to see but Cathy refused to, because her daughter Danielle saw it and said it was terrible.

This may have been the only argument that Cathy ever won and of course Jeff does not let Cathy forget that missing "Rock of Ages" meant we did not achieve our goal of seeing every nominated show before we went to the Tonys! Hopefully this year, Danielle will stay out of the theatre and we will see everything before the Tony Awards in June.

Allow us to digress. We don't just "see" theater. We experience it. We have opinions about the seats. We are 5'7' and 6"2" respectively and not every seat in every theatre lends itself to an enjoyable experience. We rate every theater. After all....there is acting and then there is air conditioning. Acting and air conditionig are very much alike you know. Too much or too little can ruin an evening. Especially too little air on a very hot summer night.

Mix that with a Wall Street wunderkind sitting next to you checking his Crackberry and we get crazed. Even Jeff . . . who should find a Crackberry Anonymous Meeting sooner rather than later NEVER touches his phone before intermision. Either of his phones. Nor would either of us allow our phones to disturb a performance by Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.

When a tourist from Idaho sits behind us cracking her gum and continually asking her hubby "What does that mean?" we get very cranky. But we endure all because we love, love, love theater.

Our friends begged us to blog about our theater going. So here we are.
Disclaimer #1: We NEVER read reviews before we see a show.
Disclaimer #2: We don't care what critics say.
Disclaimer #3: What we write is strictly a reflection of our own opinions.

We intend to blog after every show we see this season. However, there's no need for us to go backwards because you can rest assured we will do an entire season recap before we go to the Tony's in June.

We'll be at the Golden Theater on Tuesday to see Oleanna - so check us out on Wednesday, November 25th. Please have as much fun as we intend to have.
